Loving father of David Bates and his wife Kathy, Stephen Bates and his wife Jane, and the late Sharon Norman, father-in-law of Harold Norman. Grandpa will be missed dearly by his grandchildren Amy & Jordan Marshall and family, Scott & Tatum Bates and family, Heather & Jeff Smyth and family, Pam & Brad Sider and family and Matthew and Adam Bates.
