Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Duncan McDonagh can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Entered into rest peacefully on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Duncan McDonagh of Fenelon Falls was in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Margaret Ward and the late Noreen (nee Fenn) McDonagh (1988). Son of Henry and Doris McDonagh. Loving father of Elizabeth and her husband Kevin Shanks of Newcastle, Lynn McDonagh and her husband Al Formosa of Oakville and step father of Cheryl Northcott of Oshawa. Dear grandfather of Michael, Christopher (Rachael), Sarah (Sean), Evan, Andrew, Cindy, Lindsay, Nicholas and great-grandfather of Jeremy, Charlotte, Emma, Ava Lynn, and Arianna. Brother-in-law of Barbara and her husband Ken Chan of Newcastle. The family of Duncan McDonagh will receive friends at the JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. W., Fenelon Falls on Monday, March 14th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Comrades of the Royal Canadian Legion and visiting comrades are asked to assemble at 1:45 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. remembrance service. Rev. Rodney Smith-Merkley will then celebrate Duncan's life commencing at 2:15p.m in the chapel. Private family interment will be held in the spring at Verulam Cemetery. If desired memorial contributions to Trinity United Church, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
