How do I begin.... Eileen was a unique lady! I didn't have a mother in law...and at times found having a grandmother in law very trying. Granny wasn't affraid to speak her mind...ever ! Having said that, she was a kind, loving and caring person. She never turned anyone away...she loved and valued all people...and was NOT affraid to INSIST you sit down for a home cooked meal. I learnt alot from her! Although she tried many times, I still have never mastered perogies!! I found it strange at times that I could talk to this woman...some 60 years my elder. She always understood...and had advice...oftentimes I didn't truely "get" until later. Granny had an excellent sence of humour...she never missed a birthday...or an anniversary...or just an excuse to send a card to say " I Love You".. I have so many fond memories...so hard to summarize. I will always admire Granny's spirit!! She is the only 80 year old that I've ever known to climb threw tubes, go down slides....walk to the mall and attempt her driving test at least 5 times.. "They'll get sick of me coming back sometime"..she said. Both Eileen and Brad were wonderful people. I hope they knew how special they were to me.. They're love and support will last a lifetime.
