Carew (Switzer) Eleanor:

Peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Saturday January 17, 2009. Eleanor Switzer in her 76th year was the beloved wife of Grant Carew of Burnt River, and predeceased by Morgan Switzer. Dear mother of Gary and his wife Joan of Brampton, Randy and his wife Kathy of Fenelon Falls, Kevin and his wife Nicole of Rockwall Texas, and her stepchildren John and his wife Susan, of Frankford, Wendy and her husband Grenville of Stirling, Margaret and her husband Norbert of Burnt River. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Steven, Kevin, Dana, Nick, Alanna, Katy, Wesley, and step grandchildren and her great granddaughter. Sister of June and her husband Mervyn Hunter of Burnt River, Robin and her husband Phillip of Edmonton and predeceased by Joe Rettie, and also remembered by her sister in law Gail Rettie of Lindsay. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews. The family of Eleanor Switzer will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 8 Princes' Street West, Fenelon Falls on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday January 24, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Interment later at Burnt River Cemetery.
