Sheila Dixon
Dear David, Diane, and Craig:
Jim and I were very sorry to hear of Aunt Shirley's death.
When someone dies, a lot of memories come flooding back.
As a little girl, I was somewhat afraid of Aunt Shirley, but as I grew older, I realized that there was absolutely nothing to be scared of.
She was a lovely lady, kind and caring and considerate.
One of my favourite times was when she and Uncle Les came to stay with us in Fergus one summer, many years ago. They set up their camper in our back yard, Uncle Les cleaned out the garage and Aunt Shirley cooked supper for all of us while we were at work. Uncle Les said that there would be more time for a game of euchre if the chores were done.
And now they're back together, may they rest in peace.
