My Dad, I'll love you forever ❤️

Well December 24th 2016 at 12:03 a.m my world changed forever. I now know what a broken heart feels like. Cancer took my Dad. I prayed harder than I've ever prayed for a miracle, for healing. If anyone could beat cancer it would have been my Dad. The thing is he did beat it when he took his last breath, he killed that cancer. So really who is the victor here. My Dad. When he took his last breath here on earth, he saw Jesus and he knows all the answers I have so many questions to. My Dad loved his life and loved his family above all. He would do anything for us. He loved Christmas and I know he fought so hard to stay. He was worried he was letting his family down, he wasn't thinking of himself, it was always his family. He needed to stay to make sure we were all ok. No matter how much pain he was in he fought to stay for us. He fought so well. He was a strong man. He loved my mom, they were best friends, he loved his family. He adored his grandchildren. My Dad was the best grandfather my kids knew and loved their papa. They knew they could count on him. Above all They knew he loved them more then anything. I always felt like a little girl around my Dad, no matter how old I am. He was the best Dad I could have asked for. I thank God for giving me the best Dad. Right now I also question God for taking my Dad before I was ready to let him go. That is selfish of me because my Dad's perfect healing came the moment he breathed his last breath. He's not in pain. He is perfect right now, laughing and smiling. I know if given the chance to be back here or stay where he is, my Dad would choose to stay and wait there for us, where there isn't any pain or tears or sorrow. So I'm my fathers daughter, Dad, I'll make you proud, I'll be strong like you Dad. Ill breathe through this pain, I'll love you forever Dad. And I know I'll see you again. Fathers and Daughters never say goodbye. Xoxoxox https://youtu.be/IKZYP3A-qpw
