August 10, 2008. Glen Stokes in his 82nd year, was the beloved husband of 54 years to Barbara Stokes (nee Cordick) of Fenelon Falls. Dear father of Pam and her husband Joe Willems of Fenelon Falls, Suzanne and her husband Kevin Johnston of Hillsdale, and Greg Stokes and his wife Debbie of Peterborough. Loving papa of Matthew, Nathan, Sarah, Rebecca, Matthew, Joshua and Mitchell. Remembered by his brother Donald Stokes and his wife Vicki of London, and brother in law of Lynn Cordick and his wife Janine of Fenelon Falls, and his many nieces and nephews. The family of Mr. Stokes will receive friends and family at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 8 Princes' Street, West, Fenelon Falls on Wednesday August 13th, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service from Fenelon Falls United Church, 123 Colborne Street on Thursday August 14, 2008 at 11 a.m. A graveside service will take place at Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario on Friday August 15 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to Fenelon Falls Rotary Club - Community Centre Project, Juvenile Diabetes, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
