I worked closely with Glenn for a number of years at MTO INFO, here in St Catharines.

His on-phone alias was "Bud".  It was my responsibility to track metrics such as the number of calls taken, length of calls, etc. for the provincial call centre.  Glenn didn't care a hoot about numbers or statistics - only the people at the other end of the line - he gave them the info they required, plus a friendly ear, (and often, his opinion - whether or not it was the government party line!).  I recall one day when Glenn brought his new (very new) little puppy (Cujo?) into the office - that was when I saw his tough veneer crumble - he was a pushover for that puppy,   RIP Bud
