I was hoping for an opportunity to share at the service as is sometimes done these days, but with so many there something like that may well have gone on for hours. It seems as if David had it covered in his eulogy anyway. I’m not certain if this was the particular incident he was referring to or not but I remember well Goldie coming to my aid at the scene of the crash. No words of condemnation although the reason for the accident was so plainly obvious, just a selfless act of loving kindness and compassion as she comforted me while waiting for the ambulance. The world is sorely lacking those of this heart. A comfort in a time of need for which I was very grateful. May God grant you all peace of mind at this time and may you know that we care.
