Peacefully at Longfields Manor, Monday, November 21, 2011. Hazel Townsend age 90. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Townsend. Loving mother of Pam (Don Turner) and Sharon (Ken Griffin). Proud grandmother of 7, great-grandmother of 9 and great great-grandmother of 3. Daughter of the late Frank and Orpha Brown. Dear sister of Frances (the late Delbert Meadows), Doris (Lorne Holmes), Mina (the late Dalton Rebertz), Mildred (Wilfred Tysick), Shirley (Norman Herbert) and predeceased by sisters Una (the late Bill Bradford) and Valera (the late Bistie Denofreo). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
