Peacefully at Longfields Manor, Monday, November 21, 2011. Hazel Townsend age 90. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Townsend. Loving mother of Pam (Don Turner) and Sharon (Ken Griffin). Proud grandmother of 7, great-grandmother of 9 and great great-grandmother of 3. Daughter of the late Frank and Orpha Brown. Dear sister of Frances (the late Delbert Meadows), Doris (Lorne Holmes), Mina (the late Dalton Rebertz), Mildred (Wilfred Tysick), Shirley (Norman Herbert) and predeceased by sisters Una (the late Bill Bradford) and Valera (the late Bistie Denofreo). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) Friday, November 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday, November 26 at 11 a.m. A second visitation to be held at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes’ Street West, Fenelon Falls, ON, on Sunday, November 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a Funeral Service Monday, November 28 in the Jardine Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Fenelon Falls Cemetery.If desired memorial donations to the charity of choice appreciated by the family.
