Uncle George & Aunt Mary, I was saddened to hear of your recent loss. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. When Dad told me of Helen's passing and that her final hours were spent at your home surrounded by loved ones, I thought what a gift you were able to provide to her. As a nurse for over 10 years, I have taken care of many individuals in their final days and hours. However, I have always felt that if we were able to get a patient home with hospice care then I had done more for the patient and their families than if I was at their bedside when they passed.
