Condolence: Dear Mary Anne and family
I was so sad to hear about the tragic passing of George. I have such fond memories of him during my Rotary exchange to FF in 1986. What a fantastic man! His support, dedication and commitment to Rotary as well as to his family is a tribute to the type of person he was. He was always such fun and so supportive and I will always remember his laugh, the boat rides, parties and all the fun times we had. My thoughts and prayes are with you all during this very hard time.

Condolence: Jeff, Doug and families

I am very saddened to hear of tragic loss of your father.
Although I never got to know your dad much as I left the village in the 80's the year after we came back from out west, on my many return visits to mom and dads until my dad passing in 99 I knew him to be a well respected member of the community.
I know we have lost contact over the years but want you you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Having lost my own father and a first cousin to war in afghanistan i share in your grief.

My deepest condolences,

Perry and family.

Condolence From: Deane & Milly Sumler
Condolence: Maryann & family,
Milly & I were devastated to hear from Natalie about George. I had been watching Baynews9 out of Tampa and knew about the plane crash but no names had been released.
Just seeing his picture in this book of memories reminds us of just how big a part of our lives George was. When I think of all the good times in Rotary, singing Willie Nelson songs at the top of our lungs at the crack of dawn in some convention hotel, all the good times we had boating, and all the great times we had just hanging out together, it saddens us to know that it will never be the same again but we will, just as you will, carry on with the support of those memories. I still remember the first time I met both of you, discussing attendance issues at FFSS. There has been a lot of water under that bridge since then.
Our thoughts are with you and the whole family, and we will see you when the snow melts.

Love, Milly & Deane

Condolence: Mary Ann and Family,
I am so sad to hear of the passing of such a wonderful man. Although I didn't know George as well as most, I knew enough about him through my Aunt Lori and Uncle Phil Baker to know that he was a caring, fun, selfless, and well-respected man. I have a few memories of George, ranging from being in my younger days, sitting outside on George's lap in the summers as all the adults laughed and told stories, to hearing a plane take off and wondering if that was George. My most current memories involve George and Jimmy Buffett, whether it be at his concerts or calling my Aunt from Margaritaville in Key West just to say he was there. He was definitely one of the biggest parrotheads I've come to know. George will be sadly missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
Sincerely,
Kristy Hainer

Condolence From: Sharon, Scott, Nicole and Colin Munro
Condolence: Just wanted to let you know that we are thinking of you at this difficult time. Our hearts go out to each and every one of the Trail family members. Although we never got to meet George, we have had the privilege of getting to know some of the family through Fenelon Falls hockey, and if it any consolation George must have been a wonderful father and grandfather, as the family members we do know are prime examples of how great a positive role model George must have been. Please remember that we are here for you, no matter what you may need, don't hesitate to call, day or night.
Sincerely,
The Munro Family

Condolence: I will miss George, he was a great friend to me. I enjoyed every minute I got to spend with him. He enjoyed life more than any one I ever met. His enthusiasm was contagious, that is why so many people enjoyed to be around him. I got to play with George on his last round of golf and happy to report he played his last round, even par. I would not expect less from him. My life is fuller for knowing him, for that I am blessed. All my love to Mary Ann and their family. Mike and Lynn Henry "Parakeet Park" Lake Wales, Florida
