To the Ferguson Family: My heart was truly saddened to hear of the passing of Hilda. So many memories flooded my mind of my late husband Brian, Hilda and I as we worked together in Fenelon Falls Family Services during the years of 1992 - 1995. She was an excellent worker. She worked so hard, perhaps too hard at times. It was our privilege to have known her over the years. I would like to extend my heartfelt love and sympathy to all of you in these days. Please be assured of my prayer support as well. Hilda was faithful to her responsibilities in whatever capacity she served. However, her faithfulness to God was also very much evident in the reason behind her work. She did it because it was an expression of her love for God and for her commitment to The Salvation Army Family Services, in particular. She served with love, dedication, commitment, and kindness. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. God bless and keep you all.
