Peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Wednesday November 24, 2010. Ivan McCartney in his 81st year was the beloved husband of the late Elmyra McCartney and predeceased by his daughter Barbara McCartney. Dear father of Terry McCartney and his wife Caroline of Mactier, Wendy McNish and her husband Rob of Brockville. Remembered by his four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Brother of Jack McCartney and his wife Marilyn of Wiarton. Sadly missed by his best friend and companion Helen Peck for the past twelve years, and also remembered by Helen's children and grandchildren. The family of Mr. McCartney will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. West, Fenelon Falls on Monday November 29, 2010 from 10 a.m. until time of the service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment later at Fenelon Falls Cemetery.
