Entered into rest at Ross Memorial Hospital, in Lindsay on Tuesday June 22, 2004. Owner of J& K Devitt Services, Bobcaygeon. Ken Devitt in his 68th year was the beloved husband of Shirley Thompson of Bobcaygeon. Loving father of Sheree and her husband Steve Austin, Janet Devitt and her friend Fred Crittenden, Juanita and her husband Shane Quibell, Maria and her husband Sam Beggs all of Bobcaygeon. Grandfather of Joel, Riley, and Brady Austin, Joshua and Hannah Quibell, Lucia and Ethan Beggs. Brother of Jean McGee of Winnipeg, Marion Amy and her husband Paul of Waterloo, John Devitt and his wife Carol of Oshawa, and predeceased by his brother in law Ron McGee. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Mary Devitt. Special friend of the family of Juanita Day and her husband Harold of Oshawa. The family of Ken Devitt will receive friends at the JARDINE FUNERAL HOME on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday June 26 at Christ Church Anglican, Sherwood Street from 11 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. Interment at Verulam Cemetery.
