It is with great sadness that the family of Jeanette Jones announces her passing on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay. Jeanette is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Ross Jones. Beloved mother of Heather and her husband Jeremy Levely of Denver, Ryan Jones of Victoria and Matthew Jones of Lindsay. Cherished sister of Jim Platten and his wife Mary Anne of Oakville, Grant Platten of Victoria, Eunice and her husband Ron Tubman of Lindsay and Marlene and her husband Jamie Bennett of Kitchener. Adoring aunt of Katherine and her husband Gianfranco Talarico, Peter Platten, Andrew and his wife Bobbie Platten, Carrie and her husband David Masse, Jonathan Falls and his partner Amanda, Ian Falls, Kate and her husband Luke Pinder and Mike Bennett. Jeanette is pre-deceased by her parents, Mendham and Reta Platten. Daughter-in-law of Ruth and the late Clifford Jones. Jeanette loved her family and friends. She devoted her life to helping and caring for others and she will be deeply missed by all. The family of Jeanette Jones will receive friends at the JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. W., Fenelon Falls, on Thursday, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Memorial Service in the chapel on Friday, June 13th at 2:00 p.m. If desired memorial donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
