Dear Helen and family: John was such a lovely gentleman - I always enjoyed playing horseshoes against him. And he was always coming into the Branch with pictures he had taken, to give to whomever happened to be in the photo. He took great interest in us "girls" when we started the Ladies' Pool League at the Branch, and was often called back in to play cards because he was watching us shooting 8-ball.
