Peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Monday January 30, 2017 in his 75th year. John was the beloved husband of Patsy Telford for 52 years (January 9, 1965). Loving father of Shannon and proud grandfather of Jasmin, Justin and Jordan, and great grandfather of Arieylla. Predeceased by his parents Leo and Zeta and his brother Kevin. Dear brother of Lionel (Judith), Gary (Carol), Gregory (Carolyn), Linda, Michael (Nancy), Paul (Joan), Philomena (Martin Childs), Anne Marie (Richard White), Stephen (Angela), Ruthann (Roger McInnis), Janice. Remembered by his Mother-in-law Elizabeth Barriball, Sister-in-law Janice Thibadeau (Lloyd), Brother-in-law Martin Telford. Survived by his Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews. The family of Mr. Byrne will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. West, Fenelon Falls on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 41 John Street, Fenelon Falls on Thursday February 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
