Lavada was a shining light at Fenelon Court when she smiled her whole beautiful face lit up and her blue eyes sparkled. She was so determined to do it on her own despite the physical challenges she faced, whether it was to walk to the end of the hall before I left on maternity leave over a year ago or read her paper which she did to the end...she was and always will be an inspiration to me. We will certainly miss her as I know you all will. You are all in my thoughts. Hugs Caroline
