GAUDETTE, Lucie, Marie Pauline:

Peacefully with her family by her side at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday July 19, 2012. Lucie was the beloved wife of 32 years of George Gaudette of Fenelon Falls. She was the loving mother of Danielle (Jason Simmons), Colleen Gaudette (Dave). Loving grandmother of Carter and Parker Simmons. Dear daughter of Aline Lalande of Bobcaygeon and her father the late Henri Lalande. Sister of Michelle Simard, Pierre Lalande, Ginette Lalande, Nicole Lalande (Gord), Marcel Lalande, and the late Daniel Lalande. Aunt of Jason, Julie, Lynn, Jean, Carolyn, Brian, Sarah, Willie, and Margaret. Lucie was a friendly, loving and caring person, who loved life and lived it to the max. She had a great sense of humour. Lucie will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Many thanks to all the PSW who took care of Lucie so she could stay in her home. Many thanks to the R.N., nurses and especially Ann Higgins who was with Lucie through this ordeal. Also many thanks to community care.
