Condolence: Maisie was the best mother-in-law I could have hoped for. She gave me nothing but the highest support, and had unerring faith in the solidity Gary's and my relationship. She took pleasure in small things like watching the birds and rabbits in the yard, looking at the stars in the night sky, cats and dogs. These simple joys are all around us if we can see them, she did, and that endeared her to me.

Condolence: Gary and family: Sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom, Maisie Bakalis. Sounds like she was quite a gal! I still think of my Mom every day, and miss her tremendously, but know that she is in a good place, and at peace. I am sure same thing applies for your Mom.

Condolence: Gail and Gary, I’m so sad for you that auntie Maisie is gone. She was such a doll. I hadn’t seen her for years, but my memories of her are all very fond.

It’s so hard to lose your mom. And yet it’s a comfort to know that they’re done with this world and on to better things – maybe she’s having a celestial cup of tea with my mom at this very moment, thinking of what great kids they had!
