At Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Friday June 7, 2013, in her 93rd year. Mona Kathleen Diamond (nee Gray) of Fenelon Falls, with great peace entered into the presence of her Redeemer. Beloved wife and forever companion of the late Harry Charles Diamond. She was the loving mother of Judith Imrie (Gerry), Paul Diamond, Maureen Graham (Ken), Cheryl Snider (Bill). To her joy the family circle widened to include grandchildren Jennie and Shannon (Imrie), Michael, Philip and Lisa (Graham), Lisa, Rick Erin and Paul Snider followed by 18 cherished great grandchildren. The 7th child of Albert and Elsie Gray (Littleton) she was predeceased by sisters Lurea Brokenshire, Dorothy Burns, Maude, Jean and Orlee and brother Doug Gray. Fondly remembered by brothers and sisters in - law Peggy Gray, Norman, Lorna, Jack and Shirley Diamond, and numerous nieces and nephews. A lifelong member of The Salvation Army she quietly lived out her deep faith in little ways always to bless others. Mona worked side by side with her husband in their family business, Diamond Construction Company, for many years but her first love was always her family who are deeply grateful for the mother they have had. The family of Mona Diamond received friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. West on Saturday evening from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service was held at The Salvation Army Citadel, Fenelon Falls on Sunday June 9, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. Interment at Fenelon Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Salvation Army, Fenelon Falls would be appreciated by the family.
