Brian and Caroline Carpenter
When you have spent as much time as we have around arenas you have the honour of meeting, working with and playing for truly amazing people who give so much of themselves and their time to kids who sometimes aren't even their own, for the love of the game or just to keep the kids off the streets. Murray was a diamond in the "scruff". He was gentle in his manner, driving kids to and from games in his "camper", his parties in the cave were legendary. Murray took Juvenille teams under his wing when no one else would and played an integral role when one of those Juvenille teams won All-Ontario in the 1985-1986 season. What a time it was. Despite the 20 years which have passed since then the countless hours and miles given by Murray are not forgotten. He was truly one of a kind and will be sadly missed. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Gail and their families. Brian and Caroline Carpenter
