Paul Remi Lacerte was a good guy. I have no ill memories of him. I have known him since 1976, I was about 6 years old, he was my mothers boyfriend. She was a young woman my mom Carolyn, he was even a younger man, maybe 20. He and I stayed in touch even after their relationship ended. And they were a couple, of strange sorts, for somethin like 10 years. I was a teenager and would get around what you could call back then (a small town) on foot. I would look over my shoulder and the heck if he wasn't there in a different car, van or truck most of the time. But not in a creepy stalker like way. When I was 21 I traveled to Canada with him in a little Toyota, Horizons motorhome and that was the first time I ever really got out of my element.. He was definitely big brother material, I hope he knows that he was valuable to me. Thank you Paul for being unique you and being a positive adult figure in my young life for so many years. I love you. You will never be forgotten.
