Peacefully after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, February 12, 2012, with his wife Julia by his side on their 58th wedding anniversary at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay. Grace, a special friend was also with Peter and Julia when Peter went to be with his Lord. Peter in his 80th year was the beloved husband of Julia Kubis (nee Oreski) of Dunsford. Loving father of the late Donna Cunningham. Special 'dziacle' meaning grandfather of Lorie, Michael, Stefan, Julie and great-grampa of Fronz, Stefanie, Gabriella and Aidan. Brother of John Kubis and his wife Pamela of Kelowna, B.C. Special friend of Waldemar and his wife Grace and their children Monika and Arthur. The family of Mr. Peter Kubis will receive friends at the JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. W., Fenelon Falls on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 41 John Street, Fenelon Falls, on Saturday February 16th at 11:00 a.m. Private family interment at Ressurection Cemetery in Whitby.
