Passed peacefully, family by her side, at her home in Lindsay on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in her 96th year. Phillis Huffman was the beloved wife of the late Melville Davis (1969). Much loved Mom of Margo Collins of Lindsay. Cherished Grandma of Trevor, Cory, Luke, and Nick and special nana to her great grandchildren. Survived by 2 sisters Eileen and Eleanor and brother Victor. Predeceased by Grace, Donald, Pearl, Charlie, Patricia and Christine. Phillis will be missed by many nieces and nephews, dear friends, caregivers from Rest Assure, PSW's and nurses from ParaMed. Cremation has already taken place. There will be a "Celebration of Life" at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 40 William St. N., Lindsay ON on Saturday August 21, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Locke Cemetery, Huntsville at 3:30 p.m.. Memorial donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
