Condolences

Condolence From: Tyler Taggart
Condolence: I am sorry to hear about Mr. Bones passing. I appreciated the time he spent volunteering at Langton Public School organizing the Bird Watching Club. I still fondly remember the trip that he organized to see screech owls out side of Bobcaygeon.

Condolence From: Connie Shumate
Condolence: Carol and Richard,
I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I am grateful that his pain has finally come to an end. Bob was never anything but very kind and nice to me. I have this poem that I love and I've decided to share it with you. I don't know who the author is or I would give them credit.

Birth is a beginning
And death a destination
But life is a journey
A going -- a growing
From stage to stage
From childhood to maturity
And youth to age.
From innocence to awareness
And ignorance to knowing;
From foolishness to discretion
And then perhaps, to wisdom.
From Weakness to strength
Or strength to weakness
And, often, back again.
From health to sickness
And back we pray, to health again.
From offense to forgiveness,
From loneliness to love,
From joy to gratitude,
From pain to compassion,
And grief to understanding --
From fear to faith.
From defeat to defeat to defeat --
Until, looking backward or ahead,
We see that victory lies
Not as some high place along the way,
But in having made the journey, stage by stage.
A sacred pilgrimage.
Birth is a beginning
And death a destination.
But life is a journey,
A sacred pilgrimage --
Made stage by stage --
To life everlasting.

Love, Connie

Condolence: My sincere sympathies to you Carol and Richard.
Bob and I may not always have seen eye to eye but I will be forever greatful to him for being there for Mom.
My fondest memory of Bob is from Al's 50th when Bob received the dance of his life with Gail and Donna.
R.I.P. Bob. Hopefully you are dancing up a storm in that sugar shack.
With love,
Sue.
