Condolences

Condolence From: Rosalie Edgar
Condolence: Hi Rodger, Barbara. Ken, Pat & families
This is a nice way to remember that one whole year has passed since Ross's passing. Ang & I are thinking of the days we used to see Ross's light on & we miss him and knowing he was always across the road. I treasure Stan being so close & know he's there if we need him. I sure enjoy his stopping in to say "hello". Just thinking of you today. Rosalie and Angela

Condolence From: Ross and Car0lyn Russell
Condolence: To Ross's three sons, their wives and his grandchildren.
It is almost a year now and you can find peace in your memories, the pictures, the stories. We are so sorry that we were unable to make it to Fenelon Falls for Ross's funeral. It was impossible for us but rest assured we were praying for you and certainly thinking about you. We will be back for a visit, perhaps this Summer. I miss that old farm so much and love each and every one of you very much. Our phone number in Sarnia is 519-541-0078 and you would be so welcome to come to our home for a visit. Would you please email me all of your phone numbers so that we can keep in touch. Remember that you are loved and that Grammie and Ross are together, perhaps with my mother, Madeline. That would be quite a group, wouldn't it?
You have no idea how I loved that farm and the wonderful memories I have of my childhood each Summer from the end of June to the 1st of September. I remember thinking, 'My poor Mom, she must be lonesome!' Now that I am older I'm sure she was thrilled to have her freedom from the kids for a couple of months and knew that we were well taken care of.
Please keep in touch and know that you are in my heart.
Love Carolyn and Ross too.

Condolence From: Vicki Wolf
Condolence: Rodger, Barbara, Austen and Caleb - we are thinking of you at this very sad time. I thought of you when I drove past your old farm last weekend and I remember your parents watching your occasional basketball game at high school. Although it's nice that your Dad and Mom are once again together, it doesn't diminish the loss for you and your family. May fond memories prevail! With condolences from Vicki and Arthur

Condolence From: Bob and Marg Hetherington
Condolence: Bob, Marg, Mark and Jonathan Hetherington remember Ross with great fondness. On our summertime trips to Ontario, visits to the Martin farm were greatly anticipated. Ross's cattle were the best in the county! Great food and great music were always a part of our Red Rock visits. We take solace in knowing Ross did not have to linger in a nursing home, and was able to have all these years in his own home. Our thoughts are with Ken, Rodger, Stan, and their families.
