Condolence: I was sorry to hear that Aunt Sally passed away. She meant a lot to our family in Terrace and was a legend in terms of her sense of adventure and artistic talents. I especially remember her quiet, understated voice and her interest in the colours and landscapes of our part of Canada. All of our condolences to the family. You had a rare and wonderful mother and grandmother.

Condolence: To Sally's Family,

I first met Sally at the '99 home show in Fenelon Falls.
She approached me and offered to paint one of the
Millennium murals. Sally invited me to meet with her.
I went to her home and was awed by this "youthful"
woman. Our visits are something I will always
remember. Her apartment was filled with her art
work, books and music. Sally's eyes sparkled each
time she spoke of her Art classes at the university,
her paintings and travels.

What a lively, engaged, interested and interesting
woman! It was an honor to know Sally. I remember
thinking after each visit "WOW".

The mural Sally painted will serve as a constant public
reminder and tribute of this very talented woman.

In memory of Sally.

Sincerely,
Vera Young

Condolence: Dear Vern, So sorry to hear of your loss of Sally. Although I knew Sally for only a short time during our Community Care drives, we had time enough for her sparkling personality to shine through. I will miss driving her and can greatly appreciate your great loss. CARROL RAHN
