Linda, Jessie, Edith, and all the family, we mourn your loss with you. Alan was a lovely man--very cordial, extremely funny and as fiercely loyal to his family as one could be. We enjoyed every BBQ we shared in his/your company and any reason to raise a glass of wine with him in 'salut'. Nothing will ever be the same again, that much is true, but Alan's sharp edge and quick wit will always be an easy light to remember and celebrate.
