P.C. Constable # 3608, retired after 32 years of service with 52 Division of Toronto Police Service. Homer retired to Fenelon Falls in 2003. He was the beloved husband of Jill of Fenelon Falls. Dear father of John Ross (J.R.) (Serena), Douglas Jason, stepfather of Kim (Mark). Loving grandfather of Daniel & Thomas. Dear brother of Jane, Bob, Carolyn, and Charles. Remembered by his nieces and nephews. Son of the late Dr. Samuel & Dorothee Holmes. He will be sadly missed by his many friends from Toronto and Fenelon Falls. The family of Homer Holmes will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' Street West, Fenelon Falls on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of his life will be held in the chapel on Friday October 30, 2009 at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow at Riverside Crematorium, Lindsay.
