Chambers, John (Jack) - Veteran of WW ll R.C.A.F. and retired Captain, Toronto Fire Department after 37 years of service. Peacefully with his family at his side on Wednesday November 19, 2003 at Fenelon Court Long Term Care. Jack Chambers in his 88th year was the beloved husband of Sadie Chambers of Fenelon Falls, and formerly of Toronto and Novar. Dear father of Jacqueline and her husband Jim Walter of Fenelon Falls, Betty Jean and her husband Bruce Murray of Everett, Sharon and her husband Bill McKeown of Milton and Jack and his wife Connie of Tilbury. Lovingly remembered by his ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. The family of Jack Chambers will receive friends at the Jardine Funeral Home "Illman-Platten Chapel" 8 Princes' St. W. Fenelon Falls on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Comrades of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #238 Fenelon Falls and visiting comrades are asked to assemble at the funeral home on Saturday November 22 for a legion service at 1:00 p.m. then a Celebration of Jack's Life in the chapel at 1:15p.m. Cremation to follow.
