Hi Grandma, Last time I came to visit you, you made me feel better, expressing that remembering Grumps the way I wanted to was the best thing. I have several fond memories of Grampa (because he was my Grampa, not Grumps to me). I remember the time he tried to teach Regan and I how to shoot the rifle off the back porch at Novar. I remember sitting in the leather chair, sneaking candies, and getting caught. I remember the love Grampa expressed, when he would give the little knee squeeze. I remember how strong he was. I remember snow-mobiling with him and leaning the wrong way. Boy, was he upset! I remember that he always wanted to know how Brandon was doing. He loved Brandon, Melanie and Michael. Even when he couldn't express it, you could see it in his eyes. I am grateful that I have those thoughts and many more memories to hold on to. He was a great man, and an even better Grampa. When I think of him now, I smile. As I told you last night, if there is anything that I can do, please let me know.
