Condolence: Mom, Patty & Debbie, I am so sorry for your loss. We will miss him sorely. But now we remember him with smiles and laughter. Unique would be one word to describe him... I will always remember his never ending support for his adopted family thru my mother - priceless. He and I had our own unique relationship - putting each other on constantly - in a loving way of course. One particular remembrance is how he commented later in life that if he had okayed the first (of many) ventures that I brought to him & my mother to finance that it would have cost him a lot less in the long run! How true since that first request was to invest in a small sailboat so I could sail around the world - the inference being that I might not have made it!!! It was great to be able to see him a lot this past summer when Patrick & I were in Toronto working. He was feisty right up to the end. He will be sorely & lovingly missed.

Condolence: My grandpa was a wonderful personality mixed with a positive outlook to life, a direct honesty and a humor which I'd like to say inspires me anytime I think of him. My grandma, Marj, has spent ten years of her life by his side and stayed strong and committed while he went through medical problems, recovered, and was hit by more. They are both wonderful influences in my life and remind me constantly that to stick to the things you care about no matter the consequences and path they may take you on is far and above any easy road. It's a road of fulfillment.

He was a gentelman , scholar and a real rascel. He supported family friend and foe.

Condolence: Dearest Marj and Family, I was so sad to hear Len had passed away. He had a fullfilling happy life for many years, though struggled towards the end. Marj you were so supportive, loving and a wonderful wife for dear Len. He too knew how special you were. I have very fond memories of Len, surrounded by washing machines to be repaired!!
