We were very sorry to hear of Marian's passing. She was a lovely lady and will be missed. Chris and I have memories that go back 50 years or more. I remember my siblings and I, up at the cottage for the summer, heading up to the store almost daily and spending several minutes "shopping" for 5 cents worth of penny candies which Mrs. Godwin patiently put in small paper bags, treating us like real customers even though we must have driven her crazy.
