Our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your mother.

Many years ago on one of our first visits to Burnt River, We came across a small General store on the Main St. of Burnt River. On entering, we found a gentleman and his wife who ran that store, Chester & Marian Godwin. The store was full of many things one would need while up and at the cottage.

It was like stepping back in time...to a quieter time and place.

We will always miss the kindly assistance of your father and mother and the store that was a little piece of tranquility in a busy world.
