I will never forget mary lou her smile her laugh her wit sticking up for what she believed in. it was just before xmas break at ramerwood p s and the board was telling us we couldnt say merry christmas we had to say happy holidays well she didnt agree she put the biggest MERRY CHRISTMAS sign on her class room door and then just before the end of the day she got on the pa system and wished everyone a merry christmas we spent hours talking at night when i should have been working great conversations lots of laughs one night she went home and came back to school in her pajamas that was just mary lou and everytime she went to the states she would ask me what i wanted and i would tell her a can of bush beans cause you couldnt get them here and sure enough she bring me a few cans she got half the teachers in the school bringing me them when they went to the states. she will be sadly missed a great teacher, friend fun caring woman.
