Condolence From: Julie Mintsoulis and Family
Condolence: Our hearts were filled with sadness to hear of Mary Lou's passing. Mary Lou was an incredible, unique, passionate and loving and caring person and teacher. She had a special way of embarrassing every students indivual strengths and weakness and encouraging them to succeed to their fullest potential. There was never a dull moment in Mrs. Harding's classroom! Her creativity and zest for life filled the classroom with fun and laughter. She was the only teacher I knew that could turn a negative situation into something so postive. She had a true gift working with children. Everyone loved Mrs.Harding. We will take with us some beautiful and fun and special memories of the times we spent together with Mary Lou, at Ramerwood Public School. Mary Lou....we can see you cruising around in Heaven on your Harley, and we can hear that intoxicating laughter of yours, and see your beautiful smile that use to light up a room... We will miss you dearly and meet up again one day. Our deepest condolences to the faily and friends for this big loss in your lives. All our love, Julie, Chris, and Justin Mintsoulis xoxoxo

Condolence: Our family is saddened to hear that Mrs. Harding has passed. There are not enough pages and words to express the love and admiration we have for not only a great teacher in our community but a friend to all the parents that had the privilege to have her teach their children. No other teacher would take you aside and tell it like it was....if your son/daughter had a learning crutch she would advise to the best way to not only get them through the year but to teach them life long learning skills. So you knew that your child was taken care of and loved during the time they spent in her class. If you walked by the classroom in the middle of the day you would never know what to expect...there would be a roar of noise echoing the halls and that meant that she was teaching in her special way....Visually and Expressively...and that was when her students learned the most...but the times when you walked by and you could hear a pin drop was the time when her children were being artistic and she brought out the talent in every student. When there was a mistake and the student would be frustrated and upset Mrs. Harding would calm them down take the art aside and turn the mistake into a beautiful bird a flower or a butterfly then she would display it in her room for everyone to see. Memories of Winter lifestyles sipping hot chocolate warming up by the fireplace... trips to the ROM and Science Centre, Pumkin Patch, Markham Fair....beautiful times...laughter..sunshine.....thats what Mrs. Harding gave us. Thank you to the Harding family for sharing your Wife and mom through all those years. On a personal note Mary Lou was a friend and a confidant and a true lady with class...not everyone knew this but there will never be another Mary Lou Harding...thank you for teaching me to be real for touching my life... my heart...Rest in Peace Beautiful Lady...

Condolence: I am so very sorry to hear about Mrs. Hardings passing. She will always have a special place in my heart and a spot at a table at my wedding. She was a very special person and my heart aches to know that I didn't get to tell her how special I think she was. She was the best teacher I have ever had and I will remember her for the rest of my life. Thank you for everything Mrs. Harding. Rest now and I will see you on the other side. Save me a spot at the front. I'll take the attendance. xo

Condolence: To the teacher who taught me how to not have chicken scratch by just writing a little smaller. To the teacher who helped me win best in show at the Markham Fair. To the teacher who encouraged every student individually to pursue what they strived in. To the teacher I wrote a poem about/for in grade 3 and hung it up in her home. To the funniest teacher I knew. To the teacher that made every student feel special - There are very few teachers/people out there like you and I am absolutely honoured to have had you for not one, but two years and we remained friends for many years after. This news is heartbreaking and I am deeply saddened the world has lost someone like you. May you rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers to her family.

Condolence: I just wanted to say something about the greatest teacher that ever taught me. Mrs. Harding was the greatest most loving teacher that I know and she only ever thought of others. She never gave up on me at any point and that is what I will never forget. Although she is gone, her teaching remains in each student that had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Harding. My condolences to the Harding family. Rest in peace Mrs. Harding..

Condolence: We are very sad to hear of Mary Lou's passing. She was a wonderful teacher to our kids and she had an immense impact on their lives. There are not many teachers that can leave such an impact as she had. We enjoyed her humour, her wit and her methods of teaching. She will be greatly missed by many. It was a pleasure to have known her.
