BARKER, Norman George:

Peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday January 27, 2015 at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto in his 82nd year. Beloved husband and soul mate for 60 years of Maureen Barker (nee Woodrow) of Fenelon Falls. Dear father of Paul (Eileen), Eric (Jackie), David (Sandra), Anne (Scott), and Raymond predeceased. Loving grandfather of Brendan, Bradley, Catherine, Dylan, Evan, Sara, Ryan, Alec, Jack, and his great grandson Isaac. Brother of Joan (Bill). Brother-in-law of Michael and Terrence. Predeceased by his parents Frederick and Caroline Barker. Remembered by his nieces and nephews. Norm graduated from the University of Toronto (Electrical Engineering) 1957. He obtained his private pilots licence in 1954 at Toronto Island Airport. He was a longtime cottager on Grand Island, Balsam Lake. Memorial donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay or Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. West, Fenelon Falls.
