Passed away at her home in Fenelon Falls on Thursday June 26, 2003. Ruth was the beloved daughter of the late George and Violet Parrington. Loving wife of the late Frank Deane, (1995) RCNVR and HMCS Haida, WWII Veteran. Survived by her son Terry, of London, On. Dear sister of Georgia and her husband Brandt Phillips of Bobcaygeon, June and her husband Bruce Stewart of Cobourg and pre-deceased by sister Jean Parrington. The family will receive friends at the JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, "Illman-Platten Chapel" for a memorial service on Saturday July 5th at 1:00p.m. Although at this time our mother, sister and friend has passed away, we are celebrating the lives of Ruth and Frank Deane. The service will be a time to reflect on their lives together and to acknowledge their various accomplishments. After the memorial service a reception will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #238 Fenelon Falls where they were both members. Ruth and Frank's cremated remains will be interred together at a later date at Zion-Fenelon Cemetery.
