On October 24, 2010 at Ross Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle against cancer. Loving wife of 53 years to George of Norland (former of Fenelon Falls), mother to Janet (Andy) Zylstra of Pleasant Point, David (Sharron) of Orillia and Glenn (Lauren) of Fenelon Falls. Loving grandmother to Angela Zylstra and Kyle Graham (Lindsay), Matthew Zylstra and Taryn Chisholm (Janetville),Tyler Zylstra and Teresa Korzeniowski (Peterborough), Megan Brown and Justin O'Gorman (Peterborough), Graham Brown and Samantha Kendall (Winnipeg). Born in Toronto on 14 April 1934 to Stan and Elsie Wylie, loving sister of Eleanor (Ronald) Bingley of Brockville, Donalda predeceased (John) Williamson of Elliot Lake. Graduate of Registered Nursing training in 1957, having provided nursing care at Toronto East General Hospital, Providence Villa Scarborough, retiring from the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay. Recipient of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem. The family of Mrs. Brown will receive friends at Fenelon Falls United Church, 123 Colborne St., Fenelon Falls from 12 pm until 2 pm on Thursday, October 28th, 2010 with service to follow. George and family will greet friends at Fenelon Falls United Church, following the service.
