Condolence: Our sincere condolences on the passing of Ron.
Reading the obituary in the Globe and Mail brought back many fond memories of our time with Ron. At a recent Golf gathering in Port Dover,a group of Ron's friends from the Beach observed a moments silence and had a drink to his memory. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to spend some time with him.

I was very saddened to hear of Ron's untimely passing but I truly hope he did not suffer too much.
"Hec" sure loved his golf and giving out that precious trophy.
I certainly remember many fun filled rounds of golf down at the Point and I'll never forget the 19th hole always complete with a Cigar and a Rum at the cottage!

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Ron's passing, please accept my condolences. Although I had not seen him for many years, I have great memories of the days he played his tea-chest/broom handle bass in our Dixieland band along with Jon Eby, Peter Davies and the rest at the old Toronto Press Club and elsewhere. I am sure he will be greatly missed.
