I have many everlasting memories of Bill. I met Bill as a teenager when he moved into a house on Margaret St, Fruitland, then a new subdivision below our small farm. We both attended Saltfleet District High School. After school and on weekends we pursued what might now be called "questionable" activities. We were young and "bullet proof" but no real harm was done! After High School our paths separated when I joined the RCN and later the RAN moving to Australia. Fortunately over the years we managed many happy reunions with our mutual High School mates- usually when I was passing through Canada on Navy postings or on leave. Bill was a great mate and will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathies and sincere condolences to Kaye and his daughters at this difficult time.
