Bob was a towering figure in my high-school life, as I started to think about making music and the clarinet my potential career. He was tough and no-nonsense, but also extremely caring, and always had time if there was a problem I wanted to talk over. His legendary career went from the 1960's into the 2000's, and there weren't and aren't too many like him. Gone but never forgotten...
