The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Andrew Johnson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Shirley and family, As I cut out Bill Waite's death notice in the paper, I was so saddened to see Les, right next to him. I would often see Les and Shirley on our road, on their way to visit Bill and Kay Waite. The two of them were always so friendly whenever I'd bump into them in town. Shirley I am so sorry, he seemed such a wonderful man. Eileen Weldon

Condolence: Dear Shirley and famliy, Having just returned from England, we just heard today about Les' passing and are writing this while you are celebrating his life at Fenelon Falls United. We have many memories of our time at FFUC, with Les sitting in the balcony for many years, and then on the "alto" side when he moved downstairs. We are certain that you are sharing many good memories now with family, friends and your FFUC church family. Sending our condolences from London. Karen and Matthew

Condolence: Dear Shirley and Family
We were so saddened and shocked to hear of Les's passing. The short time we knew
Les is very precious to us . He shared a hospital room at the Ross with John and they became fast friends. His phone calls to John to check up on him will always be very special to us both . This klndness and caring seemed no doubt to be part of his character. Know that we are thinking of you at this very sad and hard time.
