Condolence From: Kay Kingsmill
Condolence: John: I just recently learned of your mother's passing. It was my privilege to know her so briefly, but my visits with her were always interesting. "Sarge" was a very unique and special person, and I know she will be dearly missed by you and your whole family. May you find comfort in the good memories that she left you, find peace in the thoughts and prayers being offered for you in your time of mourning.
Blessings, Kay (Paramed & Village Eulogia)

Condolence: So sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs Butterill. She was my Gr 7 and 8 teacher at Norland and left the most lasting impression on me.I wish I had known then that she would be the best teacher I would ever have. She seemed to have it all together and was such a role model for us girls. She encouraged all her students to strive for their best with a calm, non-nonsense approach. I remember so well the words of praise and compliments just when I needed them the most. Such a legacy to have touched so many young lives.

Condolence: So very saddened to hear of Elizabeth's leaving. I had the incredible fortune if knowing her over the last few years. She was an extraordinary woman her entire life. I loved Elizabeth's keen intellect and wit, I was blessed truly to have had the privilege to know her in her 90's. She honoured her country in the war, she loved her children, she committed deeply to her students for better education, yes, quite a woman.
She gave me a high five not long ago, i give her one now, and i salute you Elizabeth Butterill. May you enjoy your forever peace. Love, Leigh

Condolence: Dear Judy and John,
After having had your dear mother teach me at Powles Corners School our son had the privilege of having her teach him at Queen Victoria School and I arranged to have your Mom to our home for lunch one day that she taught Michael. It certainly brought back memories
of our younger years at S.S.#4 When you Judy and John, when we all went to school together.
Mrs. Butterill was a very strong lady and very upright.
Hold all your memories close to your heart.
God Bless You All.

Condolence: Best wishes and prayers to everyone in your family, Judi. Your mom will be missed. Her humour, evidenced often in her twinkling eyes and warm smile, lightened my heart many times during my teaching/friendship experiences with her. The mark she left on Queen Victoria PS staff and students will be remembered for generations to come.
Losing a mother is a challenged time but no that she goes to a happier place and that an angel is watching you and loving you for eternity.
God bless!

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Butterill. She was an amazing teacher whom I loved. I had the honour of being taught by her for my grades 4 and 5 years at Queen Victoria Public School. She was strict in routine but overall a very caring woman who truly pushed her students to do their very best. I am now a mother of 4 young boys and I truly wish that they could have teachers that are half as wonderful as her. She touched my life at such an early age and I have never forgotten the impact that she had on me. My prayers are with all of her family at this time. She will be truly missed by all who really knew her.
