I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Butterill. She was an amazing teacher whom I loved. I had the honour of being taught by her for my grades 4 and 5 years at Queen Victoria Public School. She was strict in routine but overall a very caring woman who truly pushed her students to do their very best. I am now a mother of 4 young boys and I truly wish that they could have teachers that are half as wonderful as her. She touched my life at such an early age and I have never forgotten the impact that she had on me. My prayers are with all of her family at this time. She will be truly missed by all who really knew her.
