So sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs Butterill. She was my Gr 7 and 8 teacher at Norland and left the most lasting impression on me.I wish I had known then that she would be the best teacher I would ever have. She seemed to have it all together and was such a role model for us girls. She encouraged all her students to strive for their best with a calm, non-nonsense approach. I remember so well the words of praise and compliments just when I needed them the most. Such a legacy to have touched so many young lives.
